Seldén plain bearing blocks (PBB) are simple, rugged and extremely reliable under high static loads. The sheave runs directly on a high-strength polymer bush, so there are no balls to wear or deform – ideal where the line isn't adjusted at speed, such as vangs, backstays and reefing lines, and excellent value for money. Its fiddle configuration places a large and a small sheave in line, keeping the tackle slim and stopping the parts from twisting. An integrated cam cleat locks the line instantly and releases it with a flick of the wrist – no separate cleat needed.
